I have just recently gotten a chance to know Oliver and came across his forum and thought I would give a test drive and I must say, I was impressed with his response and support. Based on this – I reached out to him to do an interview and immediately got a response and so here it is. Enjoy!
Oliver, please tell us a little about yourself.
Hello, my name is Oliver Kenyon I’m a full time entrepreneur and internet marketer from South West England. I’m 24, and recently launched my first ever company Okenyon Webs. Most people know me as K and for being the founder of the refreshing new project CPAFix. 2012 is the first full year for my company and we are all extremely excited for the forthcoming projects.
How did you get you get a start in this industry?
Well, I have always been fascinated with the online industry but I trained and qualified as a Chef. I was working around the clock in the kitchen and managing to squeeze in all the time I could online, one thing led to another and someone introduced me to a very popular CPA network. I made my first $ about 2 years ago and haven’t looked back since. When I started to see what sort of money could be made I spent all my spare time reading guides and asking my peers questions until I found successful formula’s. I then thought how tough it can be as a newbie in this industry and how no one is willing to share unless you have something to offer them. I feel it can be quite a selfish industry so I created CPAFix, a welcoming and friendly place for people to help each other achieve success no matter what your background is!
Tell us something about CPAFix and company.
I started CPAFix about 6months ago and after it’s overwhelming initial success I decided to re design and put my heart into the site. It was AMAZING the reception it got, I never imagined it would be so good so quick. We already have over 1000 members and we have never been so active. I have worked my socks off to establish the site and this is just the beginning, it seems I wasn’t the only one who thought this industry lacked a home for publishers. My team are constantly adding new features and resources every week and growing the site. My dream is that one day it will be the number 1 stop for everyone in the CPA and affiliate marketing industry.
As far as my company I know how tough this year will be as our first proper year, but I have more projects up my sleeve and I have NEVER felt so passionate and determined to make something work in my entire life, I am willing to put everything I have into growing my name and company and I honestly cannot wait. I’ve received some great help along the way and it’s amazing how quickly you pick up friends.
So you’ve mentioned friends, who has inspired and helped you so far?
Great question, everyone has been so nice so far I’m so lucky to have a solid network of great people around me and people whom I look up to. It’s impossible to name everyone but as far as those who have helped me out with advice and mentoring I am lucky enough to say I talk with some of the best, some hate him some love him but Ryan Eagle is a BIG inspiration to me and has been a good friend to bounce ideas off. Other Network owners I am fortunate enough to be mates with are Vito Glazer and James Wallace, both successful in business and people I look up to.
On a personal level my team on CPAFix are awesome, Jordan my right hand man and Samrath are great to have around and Luke form PeerFly is a great guy.
How is CPAFix different from the other websites?
In all honesty I have had SOOOO many emails, IM’s, private messages, Facebook messages thanking me for the site. I think people are abit fed up of the so called “big” forums with their so called “big” earners that come along with their “big” egos. I don’t stand for any messing or bullying on the site, we are simply there to help each other out – no matter if you’re earning 50k a week or $1! It’s a place for everyone to help and discuss money making methods and cost per action marketing.
We also offer alot more features and we are constantly adding. We aim to be a complete resource for publishers and staff.
Tell us about the “411 Newbie Guide”!
Ok well I wrote this last week and it has already received over 1000 downloads! It’s a free guide I put together and will be adding to regularly, it’s aimed towards the newbie in CPA marketing and gives a big insight along with solid methods in CPA.
You can download for free: http://www.cpafix.com/notesofapublisher/Newbie411.pdf
On a publisher’s level, who are some of the networks you hold in high regard?
My first ever network was CPALead so they will always have my heart and I still think for newbies they are the number one network due to their chat room. I have to say though the best network I have ever used is EWA, they are just different class with the guides and help they send out almost daily. Also PeerFly is a very solid network!
I’m hearing more and greater things about Affiliate Venture Group and Adwork Media, so these will be my next stops!
How can AVG members get involved with CPAFix?
Seems someone from your team has just recently signed up to CPAFix and using our amazing network tool added AVG to the long established list of network on the forum, members can leave comments and reviews to boost the thread here: http://www.cpafix.com/showthread.php/882-Avg?p=4315#post4315
We welcome everyone and hope to see you all soon.
What takeaway should my readers have from this interview – is there something specific you care to share?
I’d like to thank everyone for reading this, it means alot and also thanks Rheya and Ricky for inviting me to make a post. 2012 really is an exciting year for everyone at Okenyon Webs and CPAFix and we would be honored to start the year along side yourselves. Thank you.
