About the Psychological Aspect of Affiliate Marketing

“One of the biggest tips I can give to anyone interested in affiliate marketing is to expect a roller coaster ride of ups and downs. You can make a lot, really fast, but you can also not make any money, and seem like the entire world is against you. This can cause depression, feeling horrible, not wanting to be around people and feeling dumb like you can’t get anything going. This is normal, it’s a huge part of this extremely volatile industry that’s a lot of fun with many, many great people. No one talks about this, because the gurus that have to sell courses do so with fake screenshots, lambos, and rich lifestyle – but the truth is, while you can earn killer money it’s not easy; it’s very hard, time-consuming and stressful. Go in with the right expectations, and you should do just fine, I’ve been a full-time internet marketer since 2008, but I always expect to make a $1, then $10, then $100 and so on, never dream of a billion dollars. One step at a time.”

A few wise words on finding profitable campaigns

“If a campaign is a winner, it will be a winner from day 1. The bs that you can optimize a bad campaign into a profitable one with endless testing is BS. You can optimize up from minus -20% ROI to positive 20%, but you can’t go from -100% profit to +. This is why it is important to split test many different offers and also angles. Spy, take what received a lot of traffic and make your own slight variants and start there.” – https://iamattila.com/

Truth be told, the most memorable and epic business relationships are often made and solidified during the social scene. So where do you go? And how do you make the most of it without getting lost in the crowd?

Here are my tips from over two decades of experience:

Working the trade show floor is a great start at the trade show. It lets you see who’s who and you can also get a good feel for their team, the ones working the booth and the others who walk the floor. But not everyone from these companies have a booth and even the ones who do, you don’t always meet the whole team. So where can you find them? At the parties of course! And at the end of this message, I’ll let you in on the really good stuff!

When you get a chance to see these people outside of their “business mode” mindset, you really get a deeper look into who you’d like to do business with. Bonds are formed that you just can get on the show floor. Buying a drink for someone, letting them sit at your reserved table and sharing bottle service as you are having the time of your life is what does it. That’s what can take you over the top with the people you need to be in good with. Don’t be a dork, don’t over try, don’t show off and always be humble. Networking is like dating—don’t  talk all about yourself, listen to them and hear what they do and what they’re looking to do so you can jump in then with your solution rather than pitching them hard from the start. I find that people can waste away days working the trade show and leave without any results when they only work the trade show floor and they don’t really get a chance to talk to prospects deeper about their business model. Sure, that external battery was cool to get from them on the show floor and they have a nice biz card, but did I really see if I can work with them? What do they do again?

That’s where the party scene really can take your networking over the top and that’s exactly why I built the Affiliate Ball. I built it so people can form bonds and let loose with fellow industry friends. It doesn’t hurt to be able to see who sponsored the party. Branding with your logo being seen at the big party certainly can help your company get past the, “who are you again”? You’re THAT company that sponsored the party, they’re clearly having fun at. They see your logo all night. Instant name recognition can help you get a great head start against the competition.

Now we can get a little deeper into my Affiliate Ball for a sec. When I laid out my plan for these events, it was with 1 goal: How do I make my parties different from the others? And, I want them to remember the Ball 10 or even 20 years from now because it was legendary. Remember that Snoop Dogg Affiliate Ball when you got up close and couldn’t believe you were dancing with Snoop at an industry event? Or the bond you formed that night with the group of people you met there and can’t wait to see the next year or sooner? That’s how I want the Affiliate Ball to be. Remembered for years with bonds that last a lifetime. Believe it or, I don’t think that’s asking for too much.

Now here’s a chance for you to still get this party scene right and take my advice.

From Snoop Dogg to Ludacris, and T-Pain to Tha Dogg Pound this year, the Affiliate Ball is THE not-to-be-missed party at Affiliate Summit, Tuesday night January 28th at Light Nightclub in the Mandalay Bay Hotel. It’s not only the official party of the Summit but it’s also the BIGGEST party of the show averaging about 3,000 Affiliate Summit guests per Vegas party. So here’s how to work it best:

How to slay the social scene at Affiliate Summit Parties

September 27, 2019

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Andrei Covaci and got to talking about the robust platform they are running at BuyGoods.com. They provide a complete end to end solution to sell your physical or digital products online, think Clickbank or Shopify on steroids. I wanted to find out a bit more and he was nice enough to talk about his business.

Hi Andrei, thank you so much for taking the time to discuss with me about your business. Where exactly did the idea for BuyGoods.com come from?

We at BuyGoods.com have been helping our clients “sell more online” since 2003.  Building funnels, setting up autoresponders and customizing checkout pages – we do it all.

Having a “yes can do” mentality, when one client asked us if they could sell their product without a merchant account – we said “yes”, then figured out what’s involved.  And the rest, as they say – is history.

Five years into it, we now offer the best-of-breed solution for selling more products online.

There seem to be many competitors in the marketplace, what sets your company apart from the others?

Simply put, we care!

Flexibility, agility, and customization.  But most important – we care. We love bending over backward to get something done for our clients, even if on a weekend at 2 am if it’s important and can help sell more online.

How do you bring ideas to life? In other words – what is your process to bring ideas to fruition?

We’re big believers in idea meritocracy – the best ideas win, regardless of title, seniority or any of that nonsense.  We share ideas 24 hours before a meeting, then hop on a call to brainstorm and try to reach consensus. People are encouraged to fight for what they believe in.  Convince others or be convinced. But always speak up.

What’s one trend about the online marketing space that excites you?

The big push towards product owners & affiliates cleaning up their act.  It wasn’t too long ago that the majority of the marketing tactics were “shady” – overpromising and under-delivering, hurting the customer in the process.

I’m grateful to see how so many are understanding that to build a sustainable business, you must deliver true value and obsess about the customer experience.

What is one habit that makes for a more productive marketer or an entrepreneur?

Grit.

The only thing constant in business is change.  You must deploy hard work, over time, continually trying new things, doing whatever it takes and never ever giving up.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

Talk to everyone, all the time, about everything. There are so many great ideas just flowing out there, or maybe just a slightly different approach that you’ve missed that makes a huge difference in the overall result

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business? Please explain how.

Getting the word out. All our clients came to us by word of mouth and recommendations. When we decided to spread the word, the results were game-changing. We met incredible people who run the most amazing businesses that share so much valuable content it’s crazy

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why? (personal or professional)

I love Audible.  Books are still the best method we have to download new information and install apps into our brains.  And Audible makes it easier to ingest that knowledge while on the drive.

I recently bought a pair of Bose frames ($199) which let me look good and listen to Audible while driving.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive? How do you use it?

Workflowy.  It’s a super simple web-based todo list that you can access from anywhere.

There’s only one feature.  It’s free and simple. I use it to keep track of all todo lists, grouped by category.

What is the one book that you recommend to our readers and why?

Still reading on this one – “Chasing My Cure: A Doctor’s Race to Turn Hope into Action.” –
It’s a book about a med student who found a cure for his own illness – Castleman disease. Instead of a residency, he began an MBA and added a CEO mindset to the approach of curing himself. This helped him coordinate the efforts of several labs and brought together doctors and researchers to prioritize the studies that needed to be done the soonest.

Everflow provides a next generation Performance Marketing Platform for tracking and managing your partners across in-app and desktop environments.  With Everflow you can seamlessly track: affiliates, influencers, referral partnerships and all of your paid marketing channels.

They’re one of the fastest growing newcomers to the space. They’ve won over marquee mobile and traditional networks, brand, and agency clients, including: Adcolony, MonsterAds, Ro.co , and Inflecto.

Here is what makes their platform special:

Amazing Customer Support – While using Everflow, you have constant live chat access to Everflow’s responsive customer success team made up of industry veterans. Getting issues resolved immediately is one of the most valuable benefits that Everflow provides.

Google Cloud Infrastructure – Everflow was built on Google Cloud, which means that pulling reports is lightning fast compared to older platforms.  This also allows Everflow to offer lower prices than their competitors due to the more efficient back end.

Deeper Reporting – You can view breakdowns of their data by any metric, powered by Google Cloud’s BigQuery. This also lets you do things like: For a city-targeted campaign, you can select a city, and you will see the breakdown  of data for that specific city with details like which affiliates are delivering there.

Click Level Reports –  You can go deep on their data to find out exactly where your traffic is coming from. Everflow offer click reporting, which means you can drill down on any click to see any potentially critical data points including: Clicks location, carrier, IP, what the affiliate passed on the click, and if the traffic came through a redirection source.

Clean & Simple APIs – Everflow has clear API documentation for your advertiser, publisher, and integration partnerships.  They also offer EverXChange Advertisers, where you can instantly connect with 30+ advertiser sources and feed those offers directly into you system with full controls and filters on which types of offers and payouts they  receive.

Fraud Prevention & Protection – With Everflow you can block fraud clicks on a source level before they damage your advertiser relationships, while continuing to run with the rest of the publisher’s sources.  You can also automatically block all duplicate clicks, conversions, proxy IPS, and any click that doesn’t match your targeting setup. you can also redirect these invalid clicks to other offers where that traffic is most relevant.

30 Day Free Trial & No Longer Term Contracts –  Getting started with Everflow is easy, just schedule a demo walkthrough with their sales team, and then they will set you up with a 30-day free trial to test out the platform.  Their pricing is month to month, so you’re never stuck with a longer term contract or pricing that doesn’t match your usage. Their pricing is based on click usage and starts at $200/month for up to 300K/mo clicks.

My Verdict:

Everflow is really impressive.  They have some of the most cutting edge features in the industry, and combine it with a dedication to customer success support.  Usually this would lead to an expensive solution, but in their case their technology has allowed them to offer much better pricing than most of their competitors.

It’s definitely worth checking out with the Free Trial:

It is said you need teamwork to make the dream work and that couldn’t have been more evident than it was at Affiliate Summit West. What a great show – full of energy, inspiration and team bonding.

More Niche #ASW19

As your business and brands expand, the focus shifts from building the product to positioning it within the marketplace. Exhibiting at a trade show is a natural next step in building visibility and credibility as a company and what better place to get your groove on that Sin City. It also provides you with the opportunity to showcase your team and the chance to network and work with qualified prospects.

More Niche flexing its muscle!

Whether trade shows provide enough of an ROI to offset the costs, both monetary and time-wise – is a concern for most companies thinking of exhibiting and righfully so might I add. Setting clear expectations and goals for what you want out of the experience will help you evaluate your success after the event and serve as a template for future events. Whether it’s the number and quality of generated leads or the overall impact of your presence and branding, define your metrics to keep your team focused and your investment worthwhile.

Stay Focused

Despite my initial concerns, this show turned out to be a truly valuable experience. My takeaway below from my first trade show with More Niche as an exhibitor:

The opportunities are strong…if you know where to look

Trade show organizers are quick to point out the benefits of networking and gaining face time with prospective clients. They’re not wrong: not only are trade shows pre-screened with people who are willing to pay to attend, attendees go into the event ready to speak to vendors and exhibitors…..for the most part :-). What’s more, a very significant amount of trade show goers have buying or decision making authority, which makes the interactions even more valuable. Make sure to research the trade show and its attendee list so you can leverage those opportunities to the fullest.

Stay Strong

Be prepared to work for attention…..unless you are HOT

It can be hard to see beyond the walls of your own booth space as you gear up for the event and this can be expounded by the booth location. Your team will be focused on the details, so make sure you take a step back to think big picture. Don’t forget that your booth, no matter the size, is just one of hundreds – and that all the exhibitors there have similar goals. Realizing this before you get to the event will help you guide your team on ways to stand out from the crowd.

HOT!

Rely on providing value over gimmicks and giveaways.

Big-ticket raffles are part of the trade show experience, but don’t rely on gimmicks and giveaways to generate traffic. Instead, trust your team’s ideas and let them get creative. Having a brand ambassador present, having actual product displays and samples or simply just be a badass and network like a beast.

Build relationships over giving the hard sell.

It’s easy to slip into sales mode when speaking to attendees, but keep in mind that they’re inundated with pitches throughout the conference. By having your team focus on building relationships instead, you will be able to nurture quality leads into real contacts. Use the opportunity to start a genuine conversation with the prospective client, which will last longer and yield more results than a sales pitch. It’s all about the narrative.

Figure out what works – and what doesn’t (and sometimes Who works and who doesn’t 🙂 )

Trade shows offer a unique chance to receive instant feedback from attendees – and pivot accordingly. For example, we found that our market was flooded with similar messaging and competition. Attendees said they couldn’t tell apart several different companies who all used the same rehearsed terminology. My team responded by avoiding buzzwords while explaining how we differ from our competitors. We have been putting some serious bank behind our brands and not so worried about the churn and burn offers that every other network seems to have. Be prepared to roll with the punches – how well and quickly you’re able to adjust can give you the edge when it comes to capturing that lead.

Capitalize on the event by hosting your own.

Attendees are usually from out of town, and welcome the chance to mingle after hours. Using the conference as a platform for your own event will give you more opportunities to network with prospects – as well as keep you memorable to the attendees who stopped by. Our invite-only dinner and drinks hotspot was a success due to effective networking: by building the attendee list with key contacts early on, we were able to keep the event exclusive and high-level, which boosted our credibility and eventual loyalty.

Motivate your team to reach new heights.

Foster the “fun” aspect of working trade shows, and encourage your team to work together and take ownership of the event. As my team got comfortable with engaging with attendees, their own enthusiasm added to their effectiveness. The trade show created a team mentality that was exciting and motivating – which enhanced their productivity and enriched the experience.

Over the last couple of years native advertising has become one of the major sources of traffic comparable in size with Facebook ads. Since website visitors got immune to buy-now ads, the native format became a lifesaver for the entire industry and a reliable source of income for affiliates.

So How to Earn with Native Ads?

To actually start benefiting from your advertising campaigns, choose a reliable and efficient network. Even though there is plenty of them now, only a few companies were the pioneers of the “native advertising movement” back in 2000s. For instance, one of the first global networks – MGID – introduced its content discovery platform 10 years ago and turned it into an efficient promotional technology with an impressive targeting capacity.

But it’s not only the fact that MGID has been playing the native field for a while that made us choose it for the review. According to their clients’ feedback, this network is a great place to start your work with native advertising. Here’s why MGID earned so many loyalty points:

1. Guidance from the start

MGID’s managers will contact you as soon as you sign up on the platform. You don’t even need to make a deposit. Your manager will clarify all pre-deposit details. Needless to mention not all ad networks are this newbie-friendly.

2. Personal account’s support

Although MGID’s interface is user-friendly and the process of creating, targeting, and managing the campaigns is pretty straightforward, you can contact your account manager when in doubt. He will point to the “hot” opportunities and advise the angles worth testing.

3. Free creatives

The services of MGID’s creative team is at your disposal free of charge. Although you can make ads on your own, you should not neglect the skills and experience of their in-house designers, copywriters and interpreters. They can come up with really brilliant ideas for attention-grabbing and yet relevant ads.

4. Campaign optimization

MGID offers a number of tools for effective optimization:

  • Price Recommendation Engine: this feature provides a clear view of how your bid affects your reach, taking all targeting parameters into account, and shows what percentage of available traffic your campaigns are receiving.
  • Selective Bidding for Sub-sources allows you to adjust the bid price not only for the whole placement, but also for each sub-source. It shows all the info: the maximum bid you’ve set, clicks, money spent, average CPC, and the number of conversions. Based on this information, you can decide which publishers to turn off and which placements, ads, GEOs, operating systems, browsers to raise your bid on.
  • Traffic Insights: smart algorithm advises you on targeting with low competition or better performing sources, allowing you to get more traffic and, consequently, increase your ROI.

5.  Statistics

When it comes to boosting your campaign’s performance, your hands are tied without the statistics.  MGID gives their clients access to all the info about the impressions, clicks, money spent, average CPC, and average CTR. You can select the stats by period, domain, region, country, OS, etc.

Which Offers Perform Best with MGID?

Currently, MGID’s best-performing verticals are healthcare, bizopp, dating, gambling, and desktop gaming. The best GEOs to advertise in are United States, United Kingdom, Viet Nam, India, Indonesia, Mexico, and Italy.

With regard to the specific GEOs and best matching verticals for them, here is a short list for each:

  1. United States: Dating, online games, men’s health, browser extensions, gambling, weight loss, lotteries
  2. Viet Nam: Money-making / binary options, home improvement (energy saving), women’s health, nutra, men’s health, weight loss, detox
  3. United Kingdom: Dating, money-making, cryptocurrencies, online games, casinos
  4. Germany: Online games, gambling, money-making
  5. Thailand: Money-making, nutra, diet, binary options
  6. India: Diet, money-making, healthcare, beauty
  7. Romania: Hair loss, weight loss, varicose
  8. France: Dating

If you have any doubts about which category to choose for your offer and what kind of creatives and landing pages can or cannot be used on the platform, be sure to read MGID’s creative guidelines

Step 2. Targeting

In this section, you adjust your offer to target your desired audience.

MGID offers a wide variety of targeting options, including:

  • GEO (country + region)
  • Browser (11 options available now)
  • Browser language
  • Devices and OS (Desktop, Mobile, and/or Tablet and the respective OS version)

As you set up your targeting, make sure to check out the Traffic Insights.

Step 3. Limits

To make sure you don’t exceed your planned budget, MGID provides the ability to set daily caps not only by budget, but also by the number of conversions or even clicks.

Step 4. Tracking Tags

Use it in case you need to set up UTM tags. If you want to set a Postback in the next Step, add a click ID token from your Network in the custom tracking tag.

Step 5. Conversion Sensor

There are two ways to track conversions with MGID. If you have a content promotion campaign, you can place the respective code on your pages. Another option is using a Postback URL and setting goals for your campaign.

If you decide to use a tracking code, just click on the “Get Tracking Code” button to generate your sensor code. Then, copy and paste it in the source code of every page you want to track the conversions from.

Use Postback option if you’re not a direct owner of an offer and don’t have access to the offer page’s source code.

Congrats, your first ad campaign with MGID is ready! Once your ads are approved, your campaign goes live.

But still, experience is the best teacher. You have to try this system to check out all of its features and appreciate its advantages. And remember: your account manager is a crucial part of your MGID experience: it’s a person you can address with questions about setting up your campaigns, traffic volumes, top-converting GEOs or any other doubts and issues you may have.

The conclusion is obvious: if you are looking for a decent network to try native advertising, MGID could definitely be the one.

Affiliate FraudFraud is almost an inevitability in any existing affiliate marketing. But, while you can’t stop fraudsters from trying to attack you, there are ways an effective affiliate manager can minimize bad activity in their programs. These steps will avoid situations like paying illegal commissions, harm to your brand, the ability to keep your ethical affiliates and most of all the consumer trusts between the business and clients.

But, just what is affiliate fraud? It’s typically defined as any illegal activity that is purposely created with the intention of scamming merchants, buyers, and affiliates. The practice of affiliate fraud can include (but, is not limited to) fake leads, typo-squatting, spam, false links, stolen credit cards, and bot spamming through the use of software that will act as if a human was accessing links to generate traffic.

The majority of people perpetrating this type of fraud are usually tech savvy. As such, they avoid detection because of the use of IP proxies, Virtual Private Networks, and other forms of masking their identity. Additionally, their methods are never constant and they’ll usually shift in order to exploit a different vulnerability that has not been patched.

But, then again, they aren’t unstoppable, and here are some of the ways you can fight them:

1. Familiarize Yourself with the Affiliates

While it might seem obvious, it’s not often that people will familiarize themselves with their affiliates. The task is time-consuming and somewhat tedious, but by familiarizing yourself with them, you’ll save yourself a substantial amount of money. In order to do this, be on the lookout for some key pieces of information for the affiliate such as:

  • Address
  • Social Security Number
  • Tax ID
  • Phone Number
  • Website Legitimacy

A key factor is to approve all applicants manually, and not only check the legitimacy of the aforementioned information but also call them directly. Any affiliates who don’t want to be contacted automatically will raise red flags. However, it’s important to keep in mind the distinction between those who want minimal contact and those who actively avoid you. Remember that this is all business, and you’ll want to know anyone who enters into a business relationship with in case they have to be reached if there are any problems.

Once you reach them, ask the important questions and figure out how they plan to help you generate traffic while keeping in mind your overall business goals.

2. Keep Tabs on Everything

Attention to detail is important in business, but you’re not expected to remember everything from memory. Keep track of all your activity logs, any reports, and records, and verify for unusual activity. Inspect your URLs to spot any potential typo-squatters, and if anything seems irregular then investigate it. When you have an unusual surge of traffic or suddenly witness a spike in sales or leads, don’t chalk it up to coincidence. If an affiliate is making $500 one month and suddenly they reach $50,000 in a week, then something is not right. A possible scenario is that the affiliate is exploiting the system or is perhaps bringing invalid leads. Any sales you gain from this type of behavior are potentially fraudulent and will end up costing your business money. Don’t let the sudden popularity get to your head, and keep a track of any potentially illegal transactions with stolen credit cards or canceled transactions after the commission for the sale has been paid. You’ll always want to do your best to keep track of all the numbers.

3. Detail Your Terms of Service

Your Terms of Service are a key aspect of ensuring your affiliates can’t harm you. By explicitly mentioning all your policies, you’ll avoid providing leeway for any unethical practices. This way your affiliates will not be able to exploit weak or vague wording when defending their actions

A ToS is a contract that will avoid debates or arguments in the future. If your ToS leave any room for interpretation or as their commonly known “grey areas” affiliates might exploit them for personal gain. These loopholes can even become dangerous and risky mistakes for your business.

4. Inform the Affiliates of What Encompasses Ethical Practices

Newer affiliates might be unfamiliar with what constitutes an ethical or unethical practice. It’s important that you take some time to explain to them what they can or can’t do. Additionally, by taking the time to show them that there are studies demonstrating the positive long-term effects of being ethical in their practices and that they will generate more money in the long run. Always communicate with your affiliates and teach them positive tactics and business strategies that yield results. By forming relationships with the affiliates you will ensure they can do their duties in an ethical manner.

5. Don’t Bend the Rules for Anyone

The rules stated by your ToS are important on several levels. If your rules, for example forbid specific keywords, then you’ll need to ensure that nobody is using those. Some particularly crafty affiliates take advantage of the differences in time zones to engage in certain types of less than ethical behaviors under the assumptions that you’re not monitoring them. But, your job is to stop them from breaking the ToS.

Keep in mind that at times it’s ok to forgive an affiliate if they weren’t doing something out of malice, but that type of excuse is a one-time thing. Don’t allow affiliates to commit the same mistake twice as that is a pattern, and since it’s your business, it’s best to eliminate the bad seeds out as fast as possible.

6. Keep Track of the Bad Affiliates

As mentioned earlier, eliminating the bad seeds is important. By maintaining a list of the people who have tried to behave unethically, fraudsters, or those that were declined in the past you’ll be able to steer clear of them in the future. The information provided on your list should include important identifiers such as:

  • Their IP
  • Websites
  • Tax ID
  • Reason for Getting Banned from the Business
  • Names

This will prevent them from trying to reapply for your business, and in case they change a few details, will still give you an edge over them. Another possible way of gaining insight is joining one of the multiple forums in the industry that will share information on affiliates. With their help, you can possibly identify bad affiliates even before they join your business.

Bad affiliates are one of the quickest ways to ruin a business. It’s important to steer clear of anyone who has had a bad past when working as an affiliate and there are avenues to spot them beforehand. Doing your research and familiarizing yourself with the people you hire will also give you insight into avoiding fraud. A clear Terms of Service will avoid any future legalese battles with affiliates that are out to screw your business over, and by being clear and concise you’ll avoid any potential confusion. Be strict, but know the distinction of when to be lenient, this will save you from burning bridges too quickly, and finally, keep in mind that it is your future at stake when dealing with these affiliates. Do your best to suit the needs of you and your company. By following these tips you’ll minimize the risks and maximize your profits.

Affiliate Summit Review

This next Affiliate Summit Review is one close to my heart as I have been attending the Affiliate Summit for over 12+ years. Affiliate marketing is a unique and enjoyable way to make money online, if you know how to do it right. While you have e-commerce websites and blog writing that are popular ways to earn money online, affiliate marketing is a highly rewarding medium.  The more sales you bring to a business which is part of the affiliate system the more money you make.

But not all affiliates are created equal and more importantly not all affiliate conferences are created equal. Affiliate Summit is one such conference with an A-list of keynote speakers, info-packed breakout sessions and exhibitors as far as the eye can see.

About Affiliate Summit

Missy Ward and Shawn Collins are behind the success of Affiliate Summit. They have over two decades of experience in affiliate marketing.

Affiliate Summit was founded in 2003 by these two affiliate marketers with the objective of providing knowledge about the current industry issues to affiliates and to foster a highly productive environment for networking.

Since its inception, Affiliate Summit has expanded its offerings to encompass Performance Marketing Summit, Affiliate Summit Social Events, GeekCast.fm, AffStat.com, ReveNews.com and FeedFront Magazine.

The company traditionally conducts two huge conferences every year (one in NYC and the other in Las Vegas) and also does occasional niche centric events which are sold out well in advance.

Drawbacks of Affiliate Summit

Many attendees complain about the abundance of marketers with fake or scam products being part of the event. But since Affiliate Summit is a conference that welcomes everyone interested in affiliate marketing, the presence of such affiliates is inevitable.

My Verdict

The conference helps you get rid of your misconceptions and hesitations regarding affiliate marketing.

“Affiliate Summit entered a new era in 2018. After so many years of being a US-centric event, we have gone global with a big splash in London this past February, and we’re headed to Singapore in October for the first Affiliate Summit in Asia. We’re very excited about expanding to other cities in the near future.” – Shawn Collins
