I have just recently gotten a chance to know Oliver and came across his forum and thought I would give a test drive and I must say, I was impressed with his response and support. Based on this – I reached out to him to do an interview and immediately got a response and so here it is. Enjoy!

Oliver, please tell us a little about yourself.

Hello, my name is Oliver Kenyon I’m a full time entrepreneur and internet marketer from South West England. I’m 24, and recently launched my first ever company Okenyon Webs. Most people know me as K and for being the founder of the refreshing new project CPAFix. 2012 is the first full year for my company and we are all extremely excited for the forthcoming projects.

How did you get you get a start in this industry?

Well, I have always been fascinated with the online industry but I trained and qualified as a Chef. I was working around the clock in the kitchen and managing to squeeze in all the time I could online, one thing led to another and someone introduced me to a very popular CPA network. I made my first $ about 2 years ago and haven’t looked back since. When I started to see what sort of money could be made I spent all my spare time reading guides and asking my peers questions until I found successful formula’s. I then thought how tough it can be as a newbie in this industry and how no one is willing to share unless you have something to offer them. I feel it can be quite a selfish industry so I created CPAFix, a welcoming and friendly place for people to help each other achieve success no matter what your background is!

Tell us something about CPAFix and company.

I started CPAFix about 6months ago and after it’s overwhelming initial success I decided to re design and put my heart into the site. It was AMAZING the reception it got, I never imagined it would be so good so quick. We already have over …read more

  • 5 Traits of Super Affiliates

    0                0

Super Affiliates are bold, aggressive, risk takers and leaders (jury still out on this one).  However, if you look at the way affiliates (especially Super Affiliates) are portrayed in our industry, you’d think they are all a bunch of irresponsible, how do I get laid, nitwits, who can only function behind the cloak of a blog or a network.

Consequently, many affiliates have no idea what it takes to be a Super Affiliate. They seek inappropriate role models and emulate the bad behavior that they see or read about on a regular basis. It is our duty as network owners and leaders to counter these negative images and grow a new generation of affiliates who are professional, respectful and willing to contribute to the industry in a positive way. Pace Lattin of Offer Vault says, “The industry needs to focus on professional performance based marketing and get away from the perception that we are lead by a bunch of gurus pushing their “get rich” systems. We need to take a step back from the porn star-like conventions and focus on guiding business principles.”

If we are to achieve this goal, we must start with the “man in the mirror”. I started my quest after the launch of Affiliate Venture Group. The greatest compliment that a network owner can get from his peers is “I want to be able to start a network just like yours.” That kind of pressure forces you to examine your business and identify ways to improve.

Over the last few years, I’ve discovered five traits that super affiliates possess:

Integrity – Integrity is more than being honest. It’s a lifestyle set on striving towards moral excellence. They are the same person whether or not others are watching. They are trustworthy, dependable, and unwavering.
Compassion – Compassion is sympathetic consciousness of others’ distress together with a desire to alleviate it. In other words, you feel compelled to help someone who is hurting. Affiliates aren’t often viewed as being compassionate, but it is a trait that helps us to become more connected to the people around us.
Confidence – Many people confuse confidence with arrogance and …read more

  • Borders files for bankruptcy

In an article by the Internet Retailer magazine last week – they confirmed the bankruptcy filing of Borders Group (Borders book store). While this news itself was not a big surprise especially in lieu of its total debt of $1.29 Billion dollars – what was surprising was how hard it home, for my wife and daughter.

After all, this was our local book store and hang out for the wife and kid on the weekends. It also served as an “off-site” location for the Affiliate Venture Group meetings – oh well, more business for Starbucks I guess.

You might want to use up your remaining Borders gift cards before they are no longer valid. ;-)

What do you think about this? Where will you go now?
